Independent Solana research from London

Net Route Base is a small editorial desk focused on Solana ecosystem news and research briefings. We help readers understand protocol change without turning every headline into urgency.

Registered business

The official registered business name is Net Route Base Ltd, incorporated in England and Wales. We operate from 1024 Harrow Road in Greater London and serve clients across the United Kingdom and internationally by remote delivery.

History

Net Route Base was established in 2019 when two former financial journalists began compiling weekly notes on proof-of-stake networks for a handful of editorial contacts. Solana entered our scope in 2021 as mainnet activity grew and governance forums multiplied. By 2023 the weekly briefing became our primary product, supported by commissioned reports for media and infrastructure teams.

We remain editorially independent: no validator commissions, no token allocations, and no paid placement in our briefings. Revenue comes solely from research fees listed on our rates page.

People

Amelia Chen leads protocol research. She previously covered infrastructure beats for trade publications and maintains the validator economics sections of each briefing.

Jonah Reid handles application-layer monitoring and client consultations. He contributes the governance summaries and runs editorial sessions.

Priya Nair manages production, citation checks, and archive indexing. She ensures every footnote resolves before delivery.

Working approach

We read primary sources first—GitHub, SIMD threads, official docs—and only then scan secondary commentary. Each briefing distinguishes verified releases from rumoured dates. When we are uncertain, we say so in the open questions block rather than smoothing gaps.

Relationship to clients

Clients treat our work as background for their own decisions. We do not execute trades, manage stakes, or provide legal classifications. Many readers share editions internally with redactions; we format PDFs to make that straightforward.
